  • Internal high-performance LED-System enables optimal and energy–efficient algae growth   
  • LED cooling system keeps < 58°C to maximize LED life (90% output after 65000 hours or ~ 15 years) 
  • Algae medium is cooled to below 28°C via heat exchangers; recirculation pumps chosen to minimize sheer forces on algae cells 
  • Optimized light-tube design enables steady  flow of algae medium avoiding biofilm growth on reactor walls and light tubes
